Your kitchen appliances come in contact with food every day, so please keep them clean and disinfected to protect your health and prevent the growth of mold and bacteria. After long-term use, kitchen utensils may become a cleaning challenge. This guide will show you how to clean each one in a few simple steps.

1. Refrigerator

The space behind the refrigerator is arguably the dirtiest square footage in the house. This is a dusty meeting place, and there are many things that lag behind the big ones. To clean, pull out the refrigerator and sweep everything clean. Then, the vacuum refrigerator is coiled behind or under the refrigerator, which will reduce the pressure on the refrigerator motor and extend its service life. Replace the loose door gasket-check the replaceable part number in your user manual and find a new gasket in the home improvement center or online search. With a tighter seal, you will get the additional benefit of saving energy. Wipe the gasket with warm soapy water monthly; rinse and dry.

2. Coffee Brewers

The coffee brewer is difficult because there are many removable parts and hard-to-reach spaces. Wash the filter pan by hand and wipe the surface of the heating plate. As for the water basin, pour the mixture of vinegar and water into the machine without drinking coffee (obviously). There are also cleaners specifically designed to run through coffee machines. It is also a good idea to pour soda with water into the pot and let it sit overnight. This will help remove bitterness and odor.

3. Blender

Some blenders say they can be washed in the dishwasher, but they are still prone to breakage. It is best to put a mixture of hot water and one or two drops of dish soap in the mixer, and then run it for about 15 seconds in the strongest environment. Some online guides also recommend cutting a few slices of lemon into thin slices to infuse the fresh smell. No matter which formula you use, you can rinse it with cold water and air dry.

4.  Microwave

Don't waste elbow grease on the crumbs in the microwave, just steam it clean. Slice the lemon in 1/2 and squeeze the juice into a microwave-safe bowl. Pour lemon slices and 1/2 cup of water into a bowl. Boil the water and lemon on high for 3 minutes until the liquid starts to boil. Without opening the door, let the lemonade stand for five minutes. The lemon-flavored steam will help break down the black skin, making it easy to wipe after you take out the bowl. Take out the turntable for cleaning, then wipe the top, bottom, sides and door of the microwave, and put it back.

5. Hob and Stove

Keeping the kitchen stove clean is relatively easy. After each use, simply wiping the cooktop with a damp cloth can help prevent dirt buildup, thereby reducing the need for regular deep cleaning.

6. Blender

If you don’t know whether the mixer can be cleaned in the dishwasher, be sure to clean the mixer by hand. Disassemble the parts and manually clean each part with a soft cloth or a brush dipped in warm soapy water. Let dry, then reassemble and use.

7. Toaster

Use a thin, soft, and dry brush to pour the food particles into the toaster coil, tray (if any) and inner wall. In this way, you don't need to do anything else to get a clean toaster.

8. Stand mixers

These are heavy beasts in the kitchen. The most important element to keep clean is the vents, usually located on the back of the mixer. Use a toothpick to remove debris. Use other toothpicks to clean gaps as needed. Wipe off this beauty after each use.
